Vacations And The Kitchen - Meals Made Easy

I have found a great way to save time on meals while on vacation.

I plan out our meals, picking freezable dinners - I make them up ahead of time.

I put chuck steaks or chicken in marinade filled ziplock bags to marinate while thawing, all ready for the grill. Chicken - I bag up chicken legs with BBQ sauce - all ready to throw in the crockpot, sometimes I precook it and freeze. Meatloaf? I make two - one for dinner, freeze the other. Make two lasagna’s, dinner’s done and one for our trip.

A few weeks before leaving, double your dinner recipes, eating one, saving the other for your trip. Even better, make four meatloafs, eat one, freeze the other three - one for vacation, two for another day!

Oh, and save one of those meals in the freezer for your arrival home - something all in one and easy.
